Alec Matte is the owner of Mallard Machines, Acadiana’s newest heavy used machine dealer. Alec was raised with an unmatched work ethic which thrives within him in every job he has performed and business he has owned. Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, he has lived in several states for various career opportunities in Florida and Texas.
After years of working various jobs with 100% dedication, Alec decided to pursue his own dream of being a business owner and started Throw & Geaux, a dumpster rental company. His business grew on the Northshore in Louisiana. Wanting to be closer to home, he decided to move his business to the Acadiana area and decided to also work for a used machines sales company where he learned the art of selling used heavy machinery.
Alec provides his customers with best in class service! He knows how to help others and has a spirit for wanting others to win!
With an entreprenurial spirit continuing to grow, Alec opened Mallard Machines, Acdiana’s newest used heavy machinery dealer. Alec and his wife, Jordan are proud parents of 2 labradoodles. They enjoy spending time with them along with hunting, fishing, and playing golf in the great outdoors!
